DeLOCK 62599 Video Cable Adapter

The DeLOCK 62599 video cable adapter allows connection of a DVI-I monitor to a device with a DisplayPort output. The compact 0.2 m adapter performs active signal conversion and supports resolutions up to Ultra HD (4K), while remaining backward compatible with Full HD (1080p). It is fitted with a DisplayPort connector on one end and a DVI-I connector on the other and comes in black.

Advantages

The adapter provides active conversion from DisplayPort to DVI-I, making it compatible with graphics cards that do not output DP++ signals. Its support for up to 4K resolution ensures high-quality video transmission, and the short 0.2 m length reduces cable clutter in desktop setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a DVI-I monitor to a computer or laptop with DisplayPort output
• Upgrading workstations or home offices where DVI displays are retained
• Setups requiring active conversion because the GPU lacks DP++ support

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model: 62599

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort end of the adapter to the DisplayPort output on your computer or laptop and plug the DVI-I connector into the monitor. Power on both devices; the adapter performs automatic active conversion so no driver installation is usually required. If the display does not show an image, check GPU output settings and DVI input selection on the monitor.

Recommendations

For optimal image quality, use the adapter with displays and graphics outputs configured to matching resolution settings. Since the adapter is short (0.2 m), use it close to the devices or combine it with appropriately rated DVI cables if additional length is required.
