DeLOCK 65878 cable adapter

Delock Cable Gender Changer 65878 is an adapter that converts a 3.5 mm stereo jack connection to a 3‑pin screw terminal block, enabling direct connection of single wires with open ends. It is designed for industrial and audio hobby applications where a reliable mechanical and electrical connection between a 3.5 mm stereo plug and individual conductors is required. The adapter is available in black, green and stainless steel finishes.

Advantages

The screw‑type terminal block accepts single wires without needing additional ferrules, allowing secure and reusable connections. The 3.5 mm stereo jack provides a standardized audio interface, while the compact adapter body supports easy integration into custom mounting solutions. Durable materials ensure stable contact and mechanical resistance in typical audio and light industrial environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting audio devices with a 3.5 mm stereo plug to individual conductors
• Industrial test rigs and prototypes requiring flexible wiring
• Hobby audio projects and DIY electronics

How to use

Insert the 3.5 mm stereo plug into the adapter’s jack. Strip the ends of the single wires to the recommended length for the terminal block, insert each conductor into the corresponding terminal and tighten the screw to secure the connection. Verify mechanical retention and electrical continuity before powering connected equipment.

Recommendations

Use appropriately sized stranded or solid wires and tighten terminal screws to a moderate torque to avoid damage to the terminal. Avoid exposure to excessive moisture or corrosive environments; choose the stainless steel finish for improved corrosion resistance.
