DeLOCK 66288 Cable Management Panel

The DeLOCK 66288 cable management panel is a metal 19" rack accessory designed to organise and route network, power and patch cables in server rooms and equipment cabinets. Finished in black, the panel occupies a 1U height and provides a structured front panel surface to guide cables, reduce tangling and help maintain clear airflow within the rack. Its robust metal construction supports regular use in professional IT environments where orderly cable runs are required.

Advantages

The metal build ensures durability and stable mounting in a 19" cabinet while the black finish offers a neutral appearance that integrates with standard rack equipment. The panel’s width and depth are matched to rack standards to provide a consistent routing plane for horizontal cable runs. By consolidating cable paths, it helps reduce visual clutter and improves access for maintenance or changes to connected equipment.

Suitable for

• Organising patch cables and ethernet runs in 19" racks
• Maintaining neat cable routing in server rooms and data centres
• Improving airflow and reducing obstruction around mounted equipment
• Creating defined entry and exit points for horizontal cabling

Key specifications

• Form factor: 19" rack panel, 1U height
• Material: metal construction for durability
• Finish: black
• Width: 48.3 cm
• Height: 44.2 mm (1U)
• Depth: 482 mm

How to use

Install the panel in a standard 19" rack using appropriate rack screws and cage nuts suited to your cabinet. Route patch cords, power leads or network cables along the panel surface and secure them as required using cable ties or Velcro straps (not included). Position cables so they follow neat paths across the panel to avoid sharp bends and to maintain good airflow. When rearranging equipment, unfasten ties and re-route cables through the panel to keep runs organised.

Recommendations

Use compatible cable management accessories such as Velcro straps for frequent changes and plastic ties for permanent runs; avoid over-tightening to prevent cable damage. Leave sufficient slack for service access and label cable ends to simplify future maintenance.
