DeLOCK 66684 HDMI Adapter Plug to Socket

This magnetic HDMI adapter by DeLOCK (model 66684) allows connection between HDMI devices while acting as a port saver to protect the device interface from wear and dust. Designed to remain inserted in the HDMI port, the adapter reduces interface deterioration in applications with frequent connections. The compact adapter features HDMI Type A male and female connectors, supports up to 8K at 60 Hz video output and has a short cable length of 0.032 m. Its grey aluminium housing provides a lightweight and durable construction.

Advantages

The magnetic function enables quick connection: the cable plugs into the adapter counterpart, which then magnetically attaches to the part left in the device, ensuring a stable HDMI connection. The aluminium housing offers robustness and low weight, and the spring contacts (pogo pins) provide reliable electrical contact with high contact durability. The adapter also serves as dust protection when left in the port.

Suitable for

• Protecting HDMI ports in frequently connected devices (port saver)
• Connecting HDMI Type A devices in tight or confined spaces
• Applications requiring up to 8K @ 60 Hz video output

How to use

Insert the adapter’s main part into the device’s HDMI port and leave it in place to act as a port saver. Plug the HDMI cable into the adapter counterpart; the cable end will magnetically attach to the adapter remaining in the device, forming a secure connection. To disconnect, pull the cable end away from the device so the magnetic counterpart separates safely.

Recommendations

Use the adapter as a permanent protective insert for HDMI ports in devices that require frequent connection and disconnection. Avoid exposing the adapter to excessive mechanical force or liquids. For optimal performance, ensure compatible HDMI cables and devices that support the target resolution (8K @ 60 Hz).
