DeLOCK 81098 RJ-45 Cat6 2 m Black Network Cable

The DeLOCK 81098 networking cable is a 2 m Cat6 F/UTP (FTP) cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for reliable data transmission in home and office networks. Its foil-shielded pair construction reduces interference and supports high-speed connections while the black jacket provides a discreet appearance.

Advantages

The angled female socket allows a space-saving installation in tight spaces behind appliances or in network cabinets. F/UTP (FTP) shielding offers improved protection against electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure wide device compatibility and simple plug-and-play setup.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, routers, switches and patch panels
• Extending existing Ethernet runs in home or office
• High-speed Cat6 networks up to standard bandwidths
• Installations in confined spaces where a straight connector would obstruct

If using the angled female socket, orient the cable so the angled connector fits the available clearance behind the equipment. Ensure connectors are fully seated to establish a stable network link.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tightly bending the cable near the connectors and maintain standard installation practices for Cat6 cabling. Keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference and verify link speed settings on network devices after installation.
