DeLOCK 82130 SATA Cable 0.5 m

The DeLOCK 82130 SATA cable is a 0.5 m long SATA III internal cable with 7-pin SATA connectors on both ends. It is intended for reliable internal connection and data transfer between SATA devices such as HDDs, SSDs, controller cards and other 2.5/3.5" drives. The cable is fitted with metal locking clips for secure connector retention and features a UV glow effect that makes the cable visible under ultraviolet lighting.

Advantages

The cable supports SATA III signal standard for high-speed data transfer, has metal clips to ensure a secure and audible connection, and a compact 0.5 m length suitable for tidy cable routing inside PC cases. The UV-reactive blue jacket provides an aesthetic glow under UV light while preserving standard SATA connectivity and compatibility.

Suitable for

• Connecting internal hard drives (HDD) and solid-state drives (SSD)
• Linking SATA controller cards or backplanes to drives
• PC case builds where short internal cable length is required
• Modding systems with UV lighting for visible cable accents

Key specifications

• Cable type: SATA III
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Connector 1: SATA 7-pin
• Connector 2: SATA 7-pin
• Product colour: Blue
• Packaging: Polybag, single unit

How to use

Power off the system and unplug it from the mains before connecting internal drives. Align each 7-pin SATA connector with the drive and motherboard or controller SATA port, then press until the metal clip clicks to secure the connection. Route the 0.5 m cable to avoid sharp bends and to maintain airflow within the case. Reconnect power and boot the system to verify drive detection.

Recommendations

Use the cable for internal connections only. Avoid excessive bending or pulling near the connectors. For optimal transfer rates ensure both host and drive support SATA III; otherwise performance will fall back to the lowest supported SATA revision.
