DeLOCK 82474 SATA Cable 30 cm Yellow

The DeLOCK SATA Cable 82474 is a 30 cm yellow SATA II cable designed for internal PC connections. It connects SATA devices such as hard drives, SSDs, SATA controllers and SATA flash storage. The cable features metal clips on the connectors to secure the connection and is oriented so that when attached to a hard drive the cable is led downwards.

Advantages

This SATA cable offers reliable data transfer compatible with SATA II devices, a compact 0.3 m length suitable for tight spaces inside a PC case, and visible yellow colouring for easy identification. Metal clips on both SATA connectors provide additional snap-in security to reduce accidental disconnection.

Suitable for

• Connecting internal SATA hard drives (HDD)
• Connecting internal SATA solid-state drives (SSD)
• Linking SATA controllers or motherboards to SATA storage devices

Key specifications

• Cable type: SATA II
• Cable length: 0.3 m (30 cm)
• Product colour: Yellow
• Manufacturer: DELOCK, MPN 82474

How to use

Align the SATA connector with the corresponding SATA port on the drive or controller and gently insert until the metal clip snaps into place. When connecting to a hard drive, the cable is oriented to lead downwards from the device. To remove, press the metal clip to release the latch and pull the connector straight out to avoid damaging the port or cable.

Recommendations

Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and contact with moving parts such as cooling fans. Use the 30 cm length for close-proximity connections inside the case; for longer runs choose an appropriately longer cable. Ensure both connectors are fully seated and the clips engaged to maintain a stable SATA connection.
