DeLOCK 82688 HDMI Cable 5 m Black Red

The DeLOCK 82688 is a 5 m High Speed HDMI with Ethernet cable featuring gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors and a straight-to-angled configuration. It supports data transfer rates up to 10.2 Gbit/s, resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 (4K x 2K) and is compatible with earlier HDMI versions. The angled connector facilitates connection to hard-to-reach HDMI ports while the cable supports audio, video and network signals over a single lead.

Advantages

The cable provides High Speed HDMI with Ethernet (HEC) for combined audio/video and internet connectivity, supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, and includes gold-plated contacts for improved signal quality. It supports 3D video up to 1080p at 60 fps per stream, up to 120 Hz refresh rate, the Audio Return Channel (ARC) and an extended colour space for more accurate image reproduction. The straight-to-angled connector design improves accessibility to recessed or awkward HDMI ports.

How to use

Connect the straight HDMI Type A plug to the source device (for example a PC, DVD/Blu-ray player or media player) and insert the angled HDMI Type A plug into the display device (monitor or TV). Ensure both devices are powered off when connecting if recommended by the device manufacturers. After connecting, select the correct HDMI input on your display and configure resolution and audio settings in the source device if necessary.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tight bends near the connectors and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources. Use the angled plug when rear or side HDMI sockets are recessed; verify that your display and source support the desired resolution and audio formats to take full advantage of the cable's capabilities.
