DeLOCK 83111 DVI-I Cable 2m Black

The DeLOCK DVI-I cable (model 83111) is a 2 m connection cable with DVI-I 24+5 male connectors on both ends, designed for linking DVI-capable devices such as monitors, projectors and graphics cards. The cable features gold-plated contacts and a durable black jacket with screw-type locking connectors to ensure a stable physical and electrical connection.

Advantages

This DVI-I cable supports dual-link signals for higher bandwidth video transmission and comes with gold-plated pins to improve contact quality and reduce corrosion. The AWG 28 conductor gauge and screw-secured male connectors provide reliable signal integrity and a fixed mechanical connection across common display setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers to DVI monitors
• Linking projectors or display walls with DVI input
• Repairing or replacing existing DVI-I cable connections

How to use

Align the DVI-I 24+5 male connectors with the DVI-I female ports on your devices, insert the connector fully and tighten the screws to secure the connection. Use the 2 m length to route the cable between devices without strain; avoid sharp bends near the connectors. For best results, connect while devices are powered off or in standby to prevent hot-plug issues.

Recommendations

For optimal picture quality, ensure both connected devices support the desired resolution and refresh rate. Replace the cable if pins are bent or if the connector screws no longer secure firmly to avoid intermittent signal loss.
