DeLOCK 83883 USB cable USB 2.0 2 m transparent

The DeLOCK 83883 USB 2.0 cable is a 2 m transparent connection cable with USB A connectors on both ends. It is designed to extend or join USB 2.0 connections and supports data transfer rates up to 0.48 Gbit/s. The transparent jacket provides a neutral, modern appearance while maintaining compatibility with a wide range of USB peripherals.

Advantages

The cable offers a standardized USB A to USB A interface and a 2 metre length for flexible placement of devices. As a USB 2.0 cable it supports the full 480 Mbit/s transfer speed of the specification and the male/male connector configuration ensures straightforward connection between compatible ports. The transparent design makes it easy to check the internal structure while remaining unobtrusive in most setups.

Suitable for

• Extending USB 2.0 connections between computers and peripherals
• Connecting USB devices where a 2 m reach is required
• Temporary or permanent cabling in home and office environments

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB A
• Connector 2: USB A
• USB version: USB 2.0 (up to 0.48 Gbit/s)
• Cable length: 2 m

How to use

Plug one USB A connector into the host or upstream device and the other USB A connector into the downstream device or peripheral. Ensure both ports support USB 2.0 for optimal transfer speeds. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and secure it to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For reliable data transfer, avoid using the cable with high-power USB devices that require USB charging standards beyond USB 2.0. If longer distances or higher speeds are required, consider a USB 3.0/3.1 cable or an active/repeater solution.
