DeLOCK 85579 3.5mm Audio Cable

The DeLOCK 85579 audio cable is a 2 m extension cable with a male 3.5 mm stereo jack on one end and a female 3.5 mm stereo jack on the other. It features gold-plated contacts and an additional gold ring at the connector end to simplify insertion through device covers. The cable uses 24 AWG conductors and comes in a white finish suitable for connecting headsets, speakers or mobile devices where a short extension is required.

Advantages

Gold-plated contacts improve signal transfer and resist corrosion, while the 24 AWG wiring reduces signal loss over the 2 m length. The female connector allows easy extension of existing 3.5 mm cables, and the additional gold ring on the plug helps with insertion when devices have protective covers. The white design offers a discreet look for most audio setups.

Suitable for

• Extending a headset cable to a smartphone, tablet or laptop
• Connecting portable speakers to a music player
• Extending an in-car auxiliary connection
• Temporary audio routing in home or office setups

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connector 1: 3.5 mm male stereo jack
• Connector 2: 3.5 mm female stereo jack

How to use

Insert the male 3.5 mm plug into the audio output of your device and connect your headset, speaker or auxiliary cable to the female 3.5 mm jack. Ensure connectors are fully seated; the gold ring assists when plugging through thin protective covers. Remove strain or sharp bends near the connectors to maintain longevity.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tightly coiling the cable and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources. If used in a vehicle or portable setup, secure the cable to prevent tugging on connectors.
