The connector provides IP68-level protection against dirt and moisture for outdoor electrical connections. Its screwable design ensures a secure mechanical and electrical connection, and the compact T-shape allows branching or extending cables without permanent enclosure modifications.

Suitable for

• Extending outdoor power cables
• Branching a single cable into two directions (T-junction)
• Connecting cables for garden lighting, pumps, or outdoor outlets

Key specifications

• Model: DeLOCK 86916
• IP rating: IP68 (dust- and waterproof)
• Cable diameter compatibility: 4.5 – 7.5 mm
• Voltage range: 85 – 260 V
• Colour: Black

How to use

Prepare cable ends by stripping insulation to the appropriate length. Insert cables into the connector ports and tighten the screwable closures until a firm seal is achieved. Verify that the cable diameters are within the specified 4.5–7.5 mm range. After assembly, check the connection for mechanical stability and, if possible, perform a voltage test before full operation.

Recommendations

Use this connector only with cords that match the specified diameter range and voltage rating. Ensure seals are tightened properly before exposing the connection to weather. Periodically inspect outdoor connections for damage or wear and replace the connector if the sealing surfaces are compromised.
