DeLOCK 86984 TOSLINK Standard Cable Plug – Plug 2 m

The DeLOCK TOSLINK Standard Cable (2 m) is an optical audio cable with male TOSLINK connectors on both ends, designed for digital audio transfer between devices with TOSLINK ports. The cable features gold-plated connectors, an aluminium connector housing and magnetic shielding to reduce interference while maintaining reliable signal transmission. Its anthracite colour and sturdy construction suit home audio and A/V setups.

Advantages

The cable provides lossless optical audio transfer for devices such as DVD or Blu‑ray players and audio amplifiers. Gold-plated connectors improve contact quality and corrosion resistance, while the aluminium housing increases mechanical durability. Magnetic shielding helps minimise electromagnetic interference for stable signal transmission.

Suitable for

• Connecting DVD or Blu‑ray players to AV receivers or soundbars
• Linking digital audio sources to amplifiers or DACs with TOSLINK ports
• Home theatre and hi‑fi systems requiring optical audio connections

How to use

Insert the male TOSLINK connector into the optical port of the source device (e.g., DVD or Blu‑ray player) and plug the other end into the TOSLINK input of the target device (e.g., AV receiver or soundbar). Ensure both device optical ports are uncovered and aligned; do not force the connector. Select the optical input on the receiving device and configure the source device audio output to use the optical/TOSLINK connection if required.

Recommendations

Avoid sharp bends and kinks in the optical cable and keep it away from strong heat sources or direct sunlight. Disconnect the cable by holding the connector housing rather than pulling the cable itself to prevent damage.
