DeLOCK 87091 DisplayPort Extension Cable 2 m 90° Down Angled

This DisplayPort extension cable by DELOCK extends an existing DisplayPort connection with a male 90° downwards angled connector and a female DisplayPort socket. The triple-shielded cable supports up to 8K Ultra HD (7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz) and is backwards compatible with 4K resolutions. With a length of 2 m and a 7 mm diameter, the cable is designed for reliable high-resolution video transmission in confined setups.

Advantages

The angled male connector reduces strain and saves space behind monitors or PCs, while triple shielding minimises electromagnetic interference for stable signal quality. Support for 8K at 60 Hz provides high-resolution compatibility and downward compatibility ensures it works with lower-resolution displays. A 2 m length offers flexibility for common desktop and workstation arrangements.

Suitable for

• Extending a DisplayPort connection in tight spaces behind monitors or PCs
• High-resolution displays, including 8K and 4K screens
• Workstations, gaming PCs and professional displays requiring stable video output

How to use

Insert the DisplayPort male 90° connector into the source device’s DisplayPort output, then connect the display’s DisplayPort cable to the female socket. Ensure connectors are fully seated to secure a reliable connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension, especially near the angled connector.

Recommendations

For best signal integrity, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and avoid tight bends. Use the 90° downwards angle to save space behind furniture or monitor mounts and check display and GPU settings to confirm the expected resolution and refresh rate.
