DeLOCK 87755 USB Type-C Splitter

The DeLOCK USB Type-C Splitter 87755 enables connection of two HDMI monitors to a computer with a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. The compact plastic housing (49 x 61 x 12 mm) and black finish make the splitter suitable for desktop and mobile setups. It supports up to 3840 x 1080 @ 60 Hz across the combined displays and can handle dual-monitor output simultaneously.

Advantages

This splitter supports Multi-Stream Transport (MST) to operate connected monitors independently in extended desktop mode on compatible systems. If the host does not support MST, ViewXpand (VXP) technology is activated so multiple displays with the same resolution are treated as one large desktop. The device offers a simple plug-and-play solution for expanding display options without additional drivers and delivers high-resolution output for productivity tasks and presentations.

Suitable for

• Extending a laptop screen to two external HDMI monitors
• Presentations and meeting-room setups
• Multitasking workflows that require multiple displays
• Systems with USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode support or hosts using VXP-compatible modes (e.g., some macOS setups)

How to use

Connect the splitter to a computer’s USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Attach one or two HDMI monitors to the HDMI outputs. On systems with MST support (for example, many Windows PCs), configure the displays in the operating system display settings to set extended or combined desktop arrangements. On systems without MST support, the device will enable ViewXpand mode so matching-resolution displays appear as a single large desktop.

Recommendations

For best results, use HDMI cables rated for the desired resolution and refresh rate. Ensure the host device’s USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode; if independent monitor control is required, verify MST support in the computer’s graphics/OS specifications.
