DeLOCK 88991 Omnidirectional Antenna

The DeLOCK 88991 omni-directional antenna extends wireless connectivity by transmitting and receiving signals across common Wi‑Fi bands. Designed for devices with an RP‑SMA interface, this black antenna offers a maximum gain of 9 dBi and supports frequencies from 2.4–2.5 GHz and 4.9–5.875 GHz, compatible with IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/h standards. Its compact form factor (height 296.1 mm, diameter 2.8 cm) makes it suitable for a range of indoor installations.

Advantages

The antenna provides an omni-directional radiation pattern for uniform coverage, a high gain of 9 dBi to improve signal strength, and dual-band operation to support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks. The RP‑SMA connector ensures straightforward attachment to compatible routers, access points or client devices. The black, slim design is unobtrusive and easy to position.

How to use

Ensure your device has an RP‑SMA female connector, then screw the DeLOCK 88991 antenna onto the port until secure. Position the antenna vertically for typical omni‑directional coverage; adjust orientation or location to optimize reception based on your environment. After connection, verify wireless settings on your router or client device and run a signal test to confirm improvement.

Recommendations

For best results place the antenna at an elevated position away from large metal objects and interference sources. Use within the specified frequency ranges and compatible devices only.
