DeLOCK 89008 PCI Express x4 card

The DeLOCK PCI Express x4 Card expands a desktop PC with four external SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) Type‑A ports, each managed by a dedicated Renesas controller to provide up to 5 Gbit/s transfer speeds. The card uses a low‑profile design and vertical port orientation, making it suitable for installation in compact or low‑profile PC cases and enabling connection of devices such as docking stations, card readers and external enclosures.

Advantages

The card delivers four external USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type‑A ports with individual Renesas chips for stable high‑speed transfers. Its low‑profile form factor and vertical port layout allow installation in small‑form‑factor systems. Compatible with common operating systems, it increases the number of available USB ports without requiring internal hub hardware.

How to use

Power off the PC and open the case. Insert the card into an available PCIe x4 (or larger) slot and secure it with the bracket screw. Close the case and power on the computer. Install drivers if required by the operating system. Connect external USB devices to the Type‑A ports; the vertical orientation supports easy access in low‑profile systems.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, connect high‑speed storage devices directly to a single port and avoid using multiple chained hubs. Ensure your operating system has the latest USB and chipset drivers installed for full compatibility and data throughput.
