DeLOCK Cat.6A Network Extension Cable 2m Black

The Network Extension Cable DeLOCK Cat.6A 2m Black is a 2-metre S/FTP Ethernet extension with screwable RJ45 jacks on both ends. It supports Cat.6A performance and provides shielded pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for extending or linking network devices through a panel, housing cut-out or slot bracket.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding improves signal integrity and reduces crosstalk and external interference. Screwable RJ45 jacks allow secure fixation to a slot bracket or a compatible housing cut-out. The 2 m length offers flexibility for device placement while maintaining Cat.6A transmission characteristics. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with common networking equipment.

Suitable for

• Extending Ethernet connections through panels or housings
• Connecting network devices where a fixed, screw-mounted RJ45 jack is required
• Temporary or semi-permanent cabling in server cabinets and equipment racks

Plug the RJ-45 connector on the opposite end into the network device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are tightened and cable routing avoids sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain signal quality.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat.6A S/FTP cable within its 2 m length for high-speed connections and keep it separated from power cables or large EMI sources. Verify that mounting cut-outs and brackets match the screwable jack dimensions before installation.
