DELOCK Easy 45 Module TOSLINK Optical Coupler TOSLINK Socket to Socket White

DELOCK Easy 45 Module TOSLINK Socket to Socket in white is a compact optical coupler designed to join two standard TOSLINK optical cables for digital audio transmission. The inline adapter provides a simple socket-to-socket connection that preserves optical signal paths without electrical contact, suitable for home audio systems, AV installations and studio setups where a direct fibre connection or cable extension is required.

Advantages

The coupler offers a low-profile, tool-free connection that keeps the optical link aligned and protected from dust when not in use. Its compact housing minimizes insertion loss and cable stress by providing a stable mating interface between two TOSLINK plugs. The white finish integrates unobtrusively with modern AV equipment and cable management layouts.

How to use

To use the TOSLINK coupler, align each TOSLINK plug with the corresponding socket and insert until a secure fit is achieved. Ensure both cable ends are clean and free of dust or debris before mating to maintain signal quality. The module requires no power and functions as a passive inline adapter; it can remain connected during normal operation. When disconnecting, gently pull on the connector heads rather than the cable jacket to avoid stress on the fibres.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep connector end faces covered when not in use and avoid excessive bending of optical cables near the coupler. Inspect and, if necessary, clean optical termini with appropriate fibre-cleaning tools to prevent signal loss. Use within typical indoor AV environments and avoid exposure to excessive moisture or mechanical impact.
