DeLOCK RJ45 Flat Network Cable Cat.6A 2m Blue

This DeLOCK Network Cable RJ45 Flat Cat.6A 2m in blue is a flat, flexible patch cable for connecting networking devices such as a NIC, switch or patch panel. It complies with Cat.6A specifications and supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s. The cable features U/FTP shielding to reduce interference and gold-plated RJ45 connectors for reliable contact.

Advantages

The flat and super flexible design allows the cable to be laid under carpets, along skirting boards or behind wallpaper with minimal bending stress. A braided jacket increases resistance to abrasion and protects the cable from kinks and breaks, improving durability. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors ensure stable connections, and the Cat.6A rating supports high-speed network applications.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting a computer network interface card (NIC) to a switch or router
• Patching between wall outlets and patch panels in home or office networks
• Running a cable under carpet or behind furniture where a low-profile cable is needed
• High-speed Ethernet setups requiring Cat.6A performance

• Standard: Cat.6A
• Length: 2 m
• Data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Shielding: U/FTP
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts

How to use

Insert each RJ45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until it clicks to establish a secure connection. Route the flat cable along the desired path; its flexible sheath and braided jacket allow placement under carpets, along walls or behind furniture while minimising cable bulk. Avoid sharp folds and excessive tensile force at the connector ends to maintain signal integrity and connector life.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep the cable separate from mains power lines to reduce electromagnetic interference. Do not bend the cable sharply at the connector; use gentle curves when routing under carpets or through tight spaces. Inspect connectors periodically for debris and ensure plugs are fully inserted for reliable network operation.
