DeLOCK USB Cable Type-A Plug to Type-B Plug 90° Left Angled 2 m

The DeLOCK USB Cable Type-A male to Type-B male 90° left angled (2 m) connects devices with a USB 3.0/USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-B port to a PC or laptop with a standard USB Type-A port. The left-angled Type-B plug allows space-saving installation behind appliances or in tight setups while the 2 m length provides flexible placement. Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and the cable includes shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference.

Advantages

The 90° left-angled Type-B connector makes it easier to fit devices in confined spaces without bending the cable sharply. Support for USB 3.2 Gen 1 (up to 5 Gbps) ensures high-speed data transfer. Gold-plated contacts enhance signal reliability and the cable’s shielding reduces noise and interference. The 2 m length balances reach and tidy cable routing.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers, scanners or external drives with USB Type-B ports to PCs or laptops
• Installations where rear access is limited or where a straight connector would obstruct space
• Use in home offices, small workstations and media setups requiring a reliable USB 3.2 Gen 1 connection

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB Type-A (male)
• Connector 2: USB Type-B (male), 90° left angled
• USB version: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) — up to 5 Gbps
• Cable length: 2 m
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Black

How to use

Insert the USB Type-A male connector into an available USB port on your computer or laptop. Plug the left-angled USB Type-B male connector into the device’s USB Type-B receptacle (printer, scanner or external drive), ensuring the angled orientation fits the available space. Avoid forcing the connector; align it gently and push until it seats fully. For optimal performance, connect both ends directly without USB hubs when high transfer speeds are required.

Recommendations

For best results, route the cable to avoid sharp bends near the angled connector and keep it away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference. Use the cable within typical indoor temperature ranges and replace it if the insulation or connectors show visible damage.
