DeWalt DE7400 Rolling Saw Station / Table Saw Stand

The DeWalt DE7400 workstation with wheels is a mobile support table engineered for use with mitre (cut-off) saws. It provides a rigid platform and adjustable support surfaces to stabilise workpieces during crosscuts and angled cuts. Integrated durable wheels and a compact folding frame allow the workstation to be moved across job sites or stored in a workshop with minimal effort. The design focuses on steady material feeding, fast setup and compatibility with common mitre saws.

Advantages

The workstation delivers stable support for long and short workpieces while reducing vibration and movement during cutting operations. Wheels and a locking mechanism enable quick relocation and secure positioning. The construction uses corrosion-resistant materials and reinforced joints for load-bearing capacity and long service life. Adjustable supports and end-stops help maintain consistent cut lengths and repeatability.

Suitable for

• On-site mitre sawing for carpentry and framing
• Workshop crosscutting and angle cutting tasks
• Portable setups for renovation and installation work
• Supporting long timber, skirting boards, and mouldings during cuts

Key specifications

• Mobile workstation with integrated wheels for easy transport
• Foldable frame for compact storage and transport
• Adjustable support arms for variable material lengths
• Locking mechanism to fix the unit in position during use
• Load-bearing design suitable for common timber and panel materials

How to use

Place the workstation on a level surface and deploy the folding frame until the supports lock in place. Extend and set the support arms to match the length of the workpiece, then engage the locking mechanism on the wheels to prevent movement. Position the mitre saw on the workstation according to the saw manufacturer’s instructions and align the material against the end-stop or fence. Feed the workpiece steadily through each cut, using the adjustable supports to keep the material level and supported throughout the operation. After use, retract the supports, fold the frame, and roll the workstation to storage or the next job location.

Recommendations

Use the workstation on a stable, level surface and always lock the wheels before cutting. Check that support arms are firmly secured and that the saw is mounted according to the saw manufacturer’s guidance. Do not exceed the rated load capacity and inspect the frame and fasteners periodically for wear or damage.
