DeWALT DWE576K circular saw

The DeWALT DWE576K circular saw is a corded power saw designed for straight and bevel cuts in wood and wood-based materials. It is equipped with a 19 cm blade and a high no-load speed of up to 5200 RPM, providing fast, efficient cutting action. The saw delivers a cutting depth of 6.1 cm at 90° and combines a robust 1600 W input motor with a balanced, lightweight design of approximately 4 kg to offer consistent performance in both professional and DIY environments.

Advantages

The saw's high-speed motor and 19 cm blade allow rapid material removal and cleaner cuts. Its relatively low weight improves maneuverability and reduces operator fatigue during extended use. The tool features precise depth control for repeatable cut settings and a stable base plate for accurate straight and bevel cuts. As a corded AC tool, it provides continuous power without battery changes, suitable for longer jobs.

Suitable for

• Cross-cutting and rip cutting of softwood and hardwood
• Cutting plywood, OSB and particle board
• Bevel cuts for trim and framing work
• Worksite carpentry and on-site renovation tasks

Key specifications

• Blade diameter: 19 cm
• No-load speed: up to 5200 RPM
• Maximum cutting depth at 90°: 6.1 cm
• Motor input power: 1600 W
• Motor output power: 1000 W
• Power type: corded AC
• Weight: approximately 4 kg
• Adjustable bevel angle for angled cuts

How to use

Ensure the saw is disconnected from the mains before fitting or adjusting the blade. Set the required cutting depth and, if necessary, the bevel angle using the tool's adjustment controls. Secure the workpiece and mark the cut line. With the saw connected to power, align the blade with the cut line, start the motor and allow the blade to reach full speed before moving the saw steadily through the material. Maintain firm control of the tool and follow standard safety practices including using eye and hearing protection.

Recommendations

Use blades appropriate to the material and desired finish; a fine-tooth blade for clean cross-cuts and a general-purpose blade for ripping. Keep the base plate and blade guard clean and inspect the power cord before use. For repetitive depths, set and lock the depth stop. Always follow local safety regulations and the manufacturer's maintenance advice to ensure reliable operation.
