Digitus A-CC-VI Colour Coding Clip Colour Clips for Patch Cables PVC Violet

Color clips for patch cable provide an effective method to organize and identify network cables. These color-coded boots fit over RJ45 connectors to visually distinguish cables by function, destination or connection type, supporting clearer and more maintainable network infrastructure.

Advantages

Color clips enable quick visual identification of patch cables, which reduces installation and maintenance errors. They improve overall cable management and help prevent incorrect connections, contributing to greater network reliability and stability. The clips speed up troubleshooting by allowing technicians to trace specific cables fast, and they support scalability by making it easy to add new cables without disrupting the existing system. Designed for use on both ends of a patch cable, these clips offer versatile and consistent cable identification.

Key specifications

• Compatibility: designed for standard RJ45 patch cables
• Function: color-coding for visual cable identification
• Placement: fits over connector boots on both cable ends
• Use case: cable organization, error reduction, faster troubleshooting
• Availability: multiple color options for standardized coding

How to use

Slide the color clip over the RJ45 connector boot at one or both ends of the patch cable until it snaps or seats securely. Assign colors according to a chosen labeling scheme (for example, by function, destination or network segment) so that each color corresponds to a clear meaning. During installation and maintenance refer to the color scheme to connect and trace cables accurately.

Recommendations

Maintain a documented color-coding plan and label key locations; regularly review the scheme as the network grows to ensure consistency and avoid confusion.
