Digitus Fibre Optic Patch Cable DK-2532-01 LC/SC 1m

FO patch cord, Duplex LC to SC, multimode OM2 (50/125 µm), 1 m length — designed for reliable fiber connections in networking environments. The Digitus DK-2532-01 provides a standardized multimode link suitable for short to medium distance data transmission, offering low insertion loss and compatibility with LC and SC ports used in data centers and telecommunications racks.

Advantages

The patch cord supports multimode OM2 fiber with a 50 µm core, ensuring consistent signal transmission for Ethernet and other high-speed network protocols. Duplex construction enables transmit and receive channels in a single cable, while LC and SC connector types provide broad compatibility with networking equipment. The 1 m length facilitates tidy, short-range connections and patch panel organization.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, transceivers and patch panels in data centers
• Telecommunications equipment and server racks
• Short to medium distance multimode fiber links

How to use

Verify connector compatibility on your devices (LC and SC ports) and route the cable to avoid sharp bends. Align and insert each connector into the corresponding port until it clicks or seats firmly. Use both ends for transmit and receive channels according to your device documentation. For optimal performance, avoid excessive bending radius and secure the cable to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Store and handle the patch cord in a clean environment to prevent contamination of ferrules. Clean connectors with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before mating and avoid repeated mating cycles beyond manufacturer guidelines to maintain low insertion loss and long-term reliability.
