Duplex Multimode Fibre Optic Patch Cable ProXtend FO-AQLCLCOM4D-0015 LC-LC UPC OM4 15m

Duplex multimode fibre patch cable ProXtend FO-AQLCLCOM4D-0015 with LC-LC UPC connectors and OM4 fibre, 15 m long, designed for high-speed short-range network links. This 50/125 µm multimode cable provides duplex transmission suitable for data centers, telecom equipment and server connections, offering tightened performance for modern multimode systems.

Advantages

The ProXtend LC-LC UPC OM4 duplex cable ensures stable duplex links with low insertion loss and UPC-polished connectors for reliable mating. OM4 multimode fibre supports higher bandwidth and improved modal performance compared with lower-grade multimode fibres. The 15 m length is practical for rack-to-rack, patching and uplink connections in networking cabinets and server rooms.

Suitable for

• Patching in data centers and server rooms
• Uplink connections between switches and patch panels
• Short-range multimode links in telecom and enterprise networks
• Server-to-switch connections

How to use

Route the fibre cable between network devices, ensuring bend radius is maintained to avoid signal loss. Clean connector endfaces before insertion and insert LC connectors into compatible duplex LC ports until they click. Use cable management and labeling to keep runs organized in racks and patch panels. When disconnecting, depress the connector latch and pull straight to avoid damaging the ferrule.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep connectors clean and protected with dust caps when not in use, avoid tight bends and secure the cable to prevent strain. Verify end-to-end link with appropriate fiber test equipment after installation.
