Edding 4-750-9-002 Colour Marker Red

The Edding 4-750-9-002 paint marker in red delivers an opaque, high-contrast pigment designed for marking on a wide range of surfaces. The paint-based ink covers smoothly and dries to a durable, satin finish that resists smudging once set. Formulated without xylene and toluene, this red paint marker is suitable for indoor use and for applications where reduced solvent exposure is required. The marker offers reliable flow and consistent line quality for writing, labeling and decorative work.

Advantages

The paint ink provides strong coverage on light and dark backgrounds and adheres well to materials such as metal, glass, plastic, stone and painted surfaces. Absence of xylene and toluene reduces solvent odor and makes the marker more appropriate for prolonged indoor tasks. The tip and ink combination give steady, uninterrupted paint flow for accurate lines and reproducible results in repetitive marking.

Suitable for

• Permanent marking on metal parts and tools
• Labeling glass, ceramics and plastic containers
• Crafting, decorating and scrapbooking projects
• Industrial and workshop marking where a visible red is required

Key specifications

• Color: red
• Ink type: paint-based, opaque
• Solvent profile: xylene- and toluene-free
• Finish: satin, quick-drying
• Compatible surfaces: metal, glass, plastic, stone, painted surfaces
• Application: writing, marking, decorating

How to use

Shake the marker well before use to mix the paint thoroughly. Prime the tip by pressing down on a test surface until the paint flows evenly. Apply with steady pressure for continuous lines; reduce pressure or use light strokes for finer detail. Allow sufficient drying time on non-porous surfaces and avoid rubbing immediately after application to prevent smearing.

Recommendations

Store horizontally when not in use to maintain even ink distribution in the tip. Use on clean, dry surfaces for best adhesion and remove excess grease or dust before marking. For long-term outdoor exposure, test adhesion and durability on a sample area first.
