EFB Elektronik K5440SW.2 HDMI Cable 2 m

The EFB Elektronik K5440SW.2 HDMI Cable 2m is a 2 metre HDMI Type A to Type A connection designed for transmitting high-definition audio and video between source devices and displays. The cable features gold-plated contacts to improve contact reliability and signal transfer, and supports 3D video formats as well as Audio Return Channel (ARC) functionality. Its black outer jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for home theater and office setups.

Advantages

This HDMI cable offers a balanced combination of length and connector compatibility for common AV setups. Gold-plated contacts reduce corrosion and help maintain a consistent connection over time. Support for 3D video and ARC allows the cable to be used in modern HDTV and AV receiver configurations where bidirectional audio and immersive video formats are required. The 2 m length provides flexibility for most shelf-to-screen or equipment-rack-to-display installations without excessive slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting Blu-ray players, game consoles or set-top boxes to TVs or monitors
• Linking AV receivers or soundbars using ARC-enabled ports
• Home theater installations where a 2 m cable run is appropriate
• Desktop or meeting-room displays that require a reliable HDMI connection

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connector type: HDMI Type A (Standard) to HDMI Type A (Standard)
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Supported features: 3D video, Audio Return Channel (ARC)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Insert one HDMI Type A connector into the HDMI output of the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, console or set-top box) and the other connector into the HDMI input of the display or ARC-enabled audio device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click or fit snugly. When using ARC, enable the ARC function in the TV and audio device menus according to the manufacturers' instructions so audio can be routed back from the TV to the sound system. Avoid tight bends near the connectors and route the cable to prevent pinching or sharp kinks.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the HDMI cable parallel to power cords over long distances and keep connector contacts free of dust. Use the 2 m length for typical living-room or desk arrangements; consider a different length if the installation requires longer or shorter runs. Check device settings to confirm 3D and ARC features are supported and enabled on both connected units.
