Einhell 4500172 Replacement Saw Chain

The Replacement Saw Chain Einhell 4500172 is a spare cutting chain engineered to restore or maintain cutting performance in compatible Einhell chainsaws. It is built with precision-ground teeth and a robust link design to deliver consistent cutting speed and reduced kickback when used within the intended machine specifications. The chain is suitable for a range of wood-cutting tasks where a clean, efficient cut and long service life are required.

Advantages

This replacement saw chain offers balanced tooth geometry for steady cutting action and improved chip removal. The hardened cutting edges maintain sharpness longer under normal operating conditions, while the solid riveted links provide stable tension and reduced wear on the guide bar. The chain’s construction aims to simplify maintenance and reduce downtime through consistent performance and predictable sharpening intervals.

Suitable for

• General wood felling and limbing
• Firewood cutting and splitting preparation
• Garden and property maintenance
• Light to medium forestry tasks

Key specifications

• Designed for use with compatible Einhell chainsaws
• Precision-ground cutting teeth for efficient cutting
• Hardened cutting edges for longer wear resistance
• Riveted link construction for consistent chain tension
• Suitable for normal-duty and occasional heavy-duty cutting tasks

How to use

Install the saw chain following the chainsaw manufacturer’s instructions: ensure the chain is fitted in the correct direction on the guide bar and properly seated in the sprocket. Adjust chain tension to the recommended specification before each use and re-check after initial cutting. Use appropriate bar and chain oil during operation to maintain lubrication and reduce wear. Regularly inspect the chain for damage, replace or professionally sharpen teeth as needed and follow safety procedures for chain replacement and maintenance.

Recommendations

Use the chain with the recommended guide bar length and ensure correct tension and lubrication for reliable performance. Observe the chainsaw’s rated limits and perform routine sharpening and inspections to extend chain life. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment and follow safe chainsaw operating practices.
