KWB 922740 wire brush

The KWB 922740 Wire Brush is a hand-held cleaning tool with brass bristles and a wooden handle. The brush head is 37 mm wide and the overall depth is 275 mm. Constructed with crimped, securely mounted brass wire in a durable housing, it is made in the European Union and designed for routine cleaning and light rust removal on a variety of surfaces.

Advantages

The brass bristles resist corrosion and are softer than steel wire, reducing the risk of scratching softer materials. The wooden handle provides a comfortable grip for manual use, while the crimped wire construction ensures long-lasting bristle retention. Its compact width allows access to narrow areas and concentrates scrubbing action for efficient cleaning.

How to use

Hold the wooden handle firmly and apply moderate pressure while moving the brush along the surface to be cleaned. Use steady, even strokes in the direction appropriate for the material — for example, along the wood grain on wooden surfaces. For barbecue grates, brush while the grate is warm but not excessively hot to remove food residue more easily. After use, remove debris from the bristles and store the brush in a dry place to prolong its life.

Recommendations

Do not use brass wire brushes on delicate painted finishes or polished surfaces where any abrasion is unacceptable. Wear protective gloves and eye protection when removing rust or stubborn residues to avoid injury from flying particles. Replace the brush when bristles become heavily worn or detached.
