How to use

Before use, check the chain tension and oil level through the sight glass and refill the automatic lubrication reservoir via the large quick-release filler if necessary. Connect the saw to a suitable AC power source, hold it firmly with both hands, and start cutting using steady, controlled motions. If the saw is tipped or experiences a sudden upward force, the mechanical kickback protection activates the immediate chain brake to stop the chain. For chain replacement or tensioning, use the tool-free system according to the manufacturer instructions. Always let the motor and chain stop completely before setting the saw down.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, eye and ear protection, and cut-resistant clothing) and follow local safety guidelines. Ensure the supply cable is routed to avoid cutting hazards and inspect the chain and lubrication regularly for wear and correct tension.
