Epson WorkForce ES-60W Handheld Scanner

The Epson WorkForce ES-60W is a compact handheld scanner offering true mobility with built-in Wi‑Fi, an LCD panel and an internal battery. It scans at speeds of approximately four seconds per page, supports optical resolution up to 600 x 600 dpi and can scan up to 300 pages on a full charge. The scanner accepts ISO A-series sizes up to A4 and handles media weights from 35 gsm to 270 gsm, making it suitable for a variety of documents and long sheets up to 1.8 metres.

Advantages

The ES-60W combines portability and functionality: wireless connectivity and a rechargeable battery enable scanning without a constant power source, while the LCD panel and ReadyScan LED sensor provide instant operation without warm-up time. ScanSmart software simplifies the scanning workflow with step-by-step guidance and supports common file formats such as PDF, JPEG and TIFF. Continuous automatic feed mode speeds up multi-page jobs and the unit’s 48-bit input / 24-bit output color depth preserves image quality for business cards and A-series documents.

Recommendations

For best results, use clean, flat documents and choose the appropriate paper weight setting (35–270 gsm). When scanning long sheets, guide the media evenly through the feed to avoid skewing. Regularly charge the battery to maintain the ability to scan up to the stated 300 pages per full charge.
