Equip 125596 Cat.6A Shielded Keystone Inline Coupler

The Equip Cat.6A Shielded Keystone Inline Coupler (Model 125596) is a compact connector with two RJ45 jacks that joins two RJ45 cables to extend or reroute network links. The fully shielded metal housing and gold-plated contacts help minimise electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity for Cat.6A networks. Its snap-in keystone form factor fits standard patch panels and wall-mounted keystone plates.

Advantages

The shielded design and gold-plated pins provide reliable connectivity and reduced data errors on high-speed Cat.6A installations. Its keystone snap-in mechanism enables quick installation into panels and outlets without additional tools. The small dimensions (17.1 mm width, 21.2 mm depth, 35.2 mm height) make it suitable for dense rack or outlet arrangements while preserving cable performance.

Suitable for

• Extending or joining two RJ45 Ethernet cables
• Use in Cat.6A and high-speed Ethernet networks
• Installation in keystone-compatible patch panels and wall plates

Key specifications

• Brand: EQUIP
• Model / MPN: 125596
• EAN: 4015867176597
• Connector type: 2 × RJ45 jacks (keystone inline coupler)
• Category: Cat.6A (shielded)
• Contacts: gold-plated pins
• Shielding: fully shielded metal housing
• Dimensions: 17.1 mm (W) × 21.2 mm (D) × 35.2 mm (H)

How to use

Insert one RJ45 cable plug into each side of the inline coupler until the plugs click into place. If mounting in a keystone patch panel or wall plate, push the coupler into the keystone opening until the snap-in latches engage. Verify the connection by checking link lights on network devices and testing data throughput to ensure signal integrity.

Recommendations

Use the coupler with shielded Cat.6A or compatible cables and ensure proper grounding of the shielded infrastructure to maintain EMC protection. Avoid using multiple inline couplers in a single link for critical high-speed runs to minimise potential insertion loss.
