EQUIP 404544 Network Cable — Cat6a U/FTP (STP), 305 m, Blue

EQUIP 404544 is a Cat6a U/FTP (STP) network cable on a 305 m reel in blue. It is designed for 10GBase-T applications and provides shielded twisted pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and ensure reliable high-speed data transmission. The cable is supplied as bulk cable without connectors, suitable for structured cabling in offices, server rooms and installations that require long continuous runs.

Advantages

The shielded U/FTP (STP) construction improves immunity to crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded cable. Support for 10 Gigabit Ethernet allows high-bandwidth data transfer for modern networks. A 305 m reel provides long continuous length for easier installation over extended runs, and the blue sheath makes identification straightforward in multi-cable environments.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling in offices
• Server rooms and data centres
• Long continuous horizontal or vertical runs
• 10GBase-T network segments

Key specifications

• Length: 305 m
• Category: Cat6a U/FTP (STP)
• Standard: 10GBase-T
• Connectors: none (bulk cable)
• Colour: Blue
• Weight: 16 kg

How to use

Measure and route the 305 m reel to cover the required run, then cut the cable to length and terminate with appropriate RJ45 shielded connectors or keystone jacks following Cat6a wiring standards. Ensure correct grounding of the shield at patch panels or equipment where required. Use proper cable management (tray, conduit, ties) and maintain recommended bend radius during installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in 10GBase-T deployments, terminate the cable with certified shielded connectors and ensure continuous grounding of the cable shield. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines to minimise interference.
