Equip LC/LC fibre optic patch cable, OM4, 1m

The equip® Fiber Optic Adapter Cable LC/LC OM4 1m is a 1-meter multimode patch cable with a 50 µm core diameter and LC connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed, full-duplex data transmission, it is suitable for use in data centers, telecom racks and other network installations where low insertion loss and reliable endface geometry are required.

Advantages

This OM4 fiber optic patch cable provides low insertion loss and good return loss through precision-polished LC connectors. The cable construction and quality materials ensure consistent endface geometry and reliable long-term performance for multimode networks. A range of lengths and connector types in the series allows matching to existing infrastructure.

Suitable for

• Short- to medium-distance multimode links in data centers
• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch connections
• Telecommunications equipment and patch panels

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces and ports before insertion to avoid contamination. Align each LC connector with the corresponding LC port and insert until the latch engages. For full-duplex links, ensure correct pairing of transmit and receive ports on both ends. Avoid tight bends and secure the cable to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Store and handle the OM4 patch cable in a clean environment, use dust caps when connectors are not in use, and follow standard multimode fiber handling procedures to maintain performance and minimize insertion loss.
