Fibre Optic Cable EFB Elektronik O0319FT.2 2 m

The EFB Elektronik O0319FT.2 is a 2 m OM4 fibre optic cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. This flat twin duplex jumper features an additional outer jacket made of LSZH for improved mechanical stability and easier installation compared with standard jumpers, and is designed for high-speed duplex optical connections in networking environments.

Advantages

The flat twin duplex design reduces space requirements in patch panels and cable trays while maintaining duplex communication. The extra outer LSZH jacket increases mechanical protection and stability during handling and installation. LC connectors on both ends provide compatibility with common transceivers and ports, and the OM4 multimode fiber supports higher bandwidth over short to medium distances.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and rack-to-rack connections
• High-density fibre installations where space is limited
• Multimode OM4 network links for short- to medium-range data transmission
• Connections to SFP+/SFP transceivers and LC duplex ports

How to use

Route the flat twin duplex jumper between LC duplex ports or transceivers, observing proper bend radius for multimode fibre and avoiding sharp bends or crush points. Ensure connectors are clean before insertion and align the keyed LC connectors into the appropriate duplex adapters or transceiver ports. Secure the cable in cable management systems to prevent strain on the connectors and maintain the extra outer jacket intact for continued protection.

Recommendations

Use in indoor environments and structured cabling systems where low-smoke, zero-halogen (LSZH) materials are required. Do not exceed typical bend radius limits for OM4 multimode fibre and avoid exposure to mechanical damage or excessive tensile load to preserve optical performance.
