Fingerprint and RFID code lock QOLTEC 52447 with IP68 protection

QOLTEC 52447 is a compact access control device that combines a fingerprint reader and RFID identification in a single unit. The lock supports biometric fingerprint verification and RFID cards or key fobs, allowing flexible authentication options for doors and gates. With IP68 ingress protection, the unit is resistant to dust and temporary immersion in water, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations where reliable and durable user authentication is required.

Advantages

The QOLTEC 52447 offers two-factor convenience by supporting both fingerprint recognition and RFID tag access, reducing dependency on keys and PINs. Its IP68-rated housing ensures protection against dust and moisture, extending operational life in exposed environments. The device design allows straightforward integration into existing access points and supports multiple user profiles for scalable access control. Installation and daily operation are intended to be practical for property managers and facility operators.

• Residential entrances and apartment building doors
• Office doors and small business premises
• Gates, garages, and outdoor access points
• Rooms requiring controlled biometric or RFID access

Key specifications

• Authentication methods: fingerprint recognition and RFID card/key fob
• Ingress protection: IP68 for dust and water resistance
• Installation type: surface-mounted for door or gate access control
• User capacity: supports multiple user profiles for biometric and RFID entries

How to use

Mount the QOLTEC 52447 at the desired access point following the manufacturer’s installation guidelines and connect it to the access control power supply and wiring. Enroll fingerprints using the device enrollment procedure to add authorized users, and program RFID cards or key fobs for secondary access. For daily use, users present a registered finger to the scanner or present an authorized RFID card or fob to unlock the door. Regularly verify enrolled users and test functionality after installation to ensure correct operation.

Recommendations

Install the unit in a location sheltered from direct impact and follow IP68 best practices: while the device resists dust and temporary immersion, avoid prolonged submersion and extreme mechanical stress. Keep the fingerprint sensor clean and enroll multiple fingerprints per user for reliable recognition; maintain a record of issued RFID cards and periodically review user access lists to uphold security.
