Fischer 45688 screw and plug set

The Fischer 45688 screw anchor and wall plug kit contains 20 pieces designed for secure fastening in solid substrates such as brick and concrete. Each anchor is intended for use with a 10 mm drill hole and requires a minimum embedment depth of 180 mm to achieve the specified load-bearing capacity. Supplied in a compact box, the kit is suitable for both DIY projects and professional installations where reliable mechanical fixing is needed.

Advantages

The kit offers a balanced combination of components that simplifies selection and installation for common anchoring tasks. The anchors are made to perform in masonry and concrete, providing consistent holding power when installed to the recommended depth and diameter. The compact packaging keeps the parts organized and ready to use on-site or in a workshop.

Suitable for

• Fixing shelves, cabinets and fixtures to brick or concrete walls
• Mounting handrails and brackets
• Securing light to medium load equipment in residential and commercial spaces
• General masonry anchoring in renovation and construction tasks

Key specifications

• Contents: 20 anchors and matching screws
• Suitable substrates: brick, concrete and similar solid masonry
• Recommended drill hole diameter: 10 mm
• Minimum embedment depth: 180 mm
• Packaging: compact storage box for transport and site use

How to use

Drill a hole in the substrate with a 10 mm drill bit to at least the specified depth, clean the hole from dust and debris, then insert the wall plug fully. Position the fixture over the plug and drive the screw until the anchor engages and secures the fitting. Ensure the drill bit, hole depth and screw size match the kit specifications to achieve proper performance. For repeated installations, inspect each plug visually before use to confirm no damage occurred during handling.

Recommendations

Use the kit only in solid masonry such as concrete and brick. Do not use these anchors in hollow or highly cracked substrates without additional reinforcement. Observe the recommended drill diameter and embedment depth to maintain rated holding capacity. When mounting safety-critical items or heavy loads, consult structural guidelines or a professional to verify suitability and load calculations.
