Fischer 48162 Pipe Clamp

The Fischer 48162 pipe clamp is designed to fasten and support pipes with a clamping range of 15–31 mm. Constructed from durable materials, this clamp offers stable mechanical support for plumbing installations and building services systems. The compact design allows for direct mounting to walls, ceilings or profile rails and keeps pipes securely in place to reduce vibration and displacement during operation.

Advantages

The clamp provides a defined clamping range that accommodates common pipe diameters used in residential and commercial plumbing. Its durable construction resists deformation under load and ensures long-term performance. The design enables quick and reliable installation, while maintaining adequate support for horizontal and vertical piping runs. Corrosion-resistant surface treatment extends service life in typical indoor environments.

Suitable for

• Mounting and securing water supply pipes in residential and commercial buildings
• Supporting heating pipes and small-diameter HVAC lines
• Installing drainage or waste pipes within the specified clamping range
• Pipe runs on walls, ceilings, or support rails where fixed positioning is required

Key specifications

• Clamping range: 15–31 mm
• Material: durable metal with corrosion-resistant surface treatment
• Design: single-piece pipe clamp suitable for fixed mounting
• Mounting options: direct screw mounting to solid substrates or attachment to support rails
• Application temperature: suitable for standard indoor plumbing and heating systems

How to use

Select a mounting point that provides adequate support for the pipe run and aligns with the planned spacing. Position the clamp around the pipe within the 15–31 mm range and secure the clamp to the mounting surface using an appropriate fastener for the substrate. Ensure the pipe is centered in the clamp to avoid point loading and check for clearance to allow thermal expansion. Repeat at regular intervals along the pipe run to maintain proper support and reduce stress on fittings.

Recommendations

Use corrosion-resistant fasteners in damp environments and follow local regulations for pipe support spacing. For plastic pipes, avoid over-tightening to prevent deformation; for metal pipes, ensure electrical continuity and grounding where required. Inspect installed clamps periodically for secure fixing and signs of wear.
