Fischer 50127 50 mm screw anchor wall plug

The Fischer 50127 screw anchor 50 mm is a wall plug engineered for secure anchoring in solid masonry such as brick and concrete. With a 50 mm length and a recommended drill hole diameter of 10 mm, this plug is designed to provide stable fixation for fixtures and fittings where a reliable hold is required. The product comes in a box of 100 pieces, suitable for larger installations and professional use.

Advantages

These screw anchors deliver consistent expansion behaviour that increases holding power in solid substrates. The 50 mm length provides sufficient embedment depth for many common fastenings while the material composition resists cracking and deformation during installation. The straightforward design allows for fast and repeatable installation, reducing time on site and ensuring uniform results across multiple fixings.

Suitable for

• Anchoring shelves, cabinets and brackets into brick
• Fixing conduit clips and cable trays to concrete walls
• Mounting handrails, light fixtures and signage on solid masonry
• General building and renovation projects requiring multiple fixings

Key specifications

• Length: 50 mm
• Recommended drill hole diameter: 10 mm
• Minimum drill hole depth: 70 mm
• Package quantity: 100 pieces per box
• Intended base materials: brick and concrete

How to use

Drill a 10 mm diameter hole into the masonry to a minimum depth of 70 mm, ensuring the hole is clean and free of dust. Insert the Fischer screw anchor until it is flush with the surface, then drive the appropriate screw through the fixture and into the plug until the anchor expands and secures the load. For best results, use a drill and screwdriver appropriate for the chosen screw size and the substrate hardness.

Recommendations

Verify substrate suitability before installation: these anchors are intended for solid masonry (brick, concrete). Avoid use in hollow blocks or weak substrates without prior testing. For loads near the anchor's rated capacity, use appropriate screw sizes and consider additional fixings or alternative anchor types designed for higher loads.
