Fischer 78178 Round Brush

The Fischer 78178 circular brush is a metal accessory designed for use with concrete materials. With a compact diameter of 1.1 cm, this circular brush attaches to rotary tools and drills to perform precise cleaning and surface preparation on concrete surfaces. Manufactured by FISCHER, the brush is intended to improve the efficiency of drilling and surface-finishing operations where targeted abrasion and residue removal are required.

Advantages

The metal construction provides wear resistance and stable performance during repetitive use on concrete. The 1.1 cm diameter allows for precise access to narrow or confined areas and supports controlled removal of mortar, laitance, rust, or deposits on concrete substrates. Designed as an accessory for rotary tools, the Fischer 78178 circular brush integrates with common drilling equipment to extend the functionality of a drill without altering the tool itself.

Suitable for

• Cleaning small concrete crevices and joints
• Surface preparation before bonding or sealing on concrete
• Removing localized deposits, residue, or laitance from concrete
• Detailed abrasion work in renovation and repair tasks

Key specifications

• Material: metal
• Designed application: concrete materials
• Diameter: 1.1 cm
• Tool compatibility: rotary tools and drills (accessory)
• Manufacturer: FISCHER

How to use

Secure the circular brush in the chuck of a compatible rotary tool or drill according to the tool manufacturer's instructions, ensuring the brush is firmly tightened before operation. Use moderate rotational speeds appropriate for concrete surface work, maintain a steady hand, and apply light to moderate pressure to avoid excessive wear or tool overload. Move the brush steadily across the target area to remove deposits and prepare the surface; avoid prolonged dwell in a single spot to prevent uneven abrasion.

Recommendations

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, dust mask, and gloves when working with concrete and rotary brushes. Inspect the brush for damage before use and replace it if bristles or metal elements are deformed. Use in well-ventilated areas and follow the rotary tool manufacturer's speed and safety guidelines to ensure safe and effective operation.
