Fischer 79549 Pipe Holder

The Fischer 79549 plumbing hanger is a metal support designed to secure pipes with a width of 12 mm. It provides a stable mounting point for plumbing runs, helping to maintain alignment and reduce stress on pipe joints. The hanger's durable construction is intended for long-term use in residential and light commercial plumbing installations and is compatible with common piping materials.

Advantages

The plumbing hanger offers a compact 12 mm support width that fits narrow pipe runs and tight installation spaces. Its robust metal construction resists deformation under typical load conditions and contributes to a reliable mechanical connection between pipe and structure. Installation is straightforward and can be completed quickly with standard fastening methods, reducing labor time. The hanger's design helps secure pipes against vibration and minor movement, improving longevity of the plumbing system.

Suitable for

• Securing 12 mm wide pipes in residential plumbing
• Light commercial plumbing installations requiring discrete pipe supports
• Vertical and horizontal pipe runs in walls, ceilings, or underfloor spaces
• Supporting water, heating, and drainage pipes made of compatible materials

Key specifications

• Support width: 12 mm
• Material: metal construction for mechanical strength
• Application: pipe hanger for plumbing systems
• Suitable mounting: fixed to structural elements using appropriate fasteners
• Environment: indoor plumbing installations and protected spaces

How to use

Select an appropriate mounting location on a structural element that provides sufficient load-bearing capacity. Position the Fischer plumbing hanger so the pipe rests securely within the 12 mm support width, and mark the fixing point. Use compatible fasteners for the substrate (e.g., screws with suitable plugs for masonry or wood screws for timber structures). Tighten the fasteners to secure the hanger without deforming the pipe; verify alignment and spacing along the run to maintain correct pitch and support intervals according to plumbing standards.

Recommendations

Use corrosion-resistant fasteners in humid or corrosive environments and observe local plumbing codes for support spacing and load requirements. Check compatibility of the hanger with the pipe material and insulation thickness, and avoid overtightening to prevent damage to the pipe.
