Fischer GK 52389 Plasterboard Wall Plug

The Fischer plasterboard fixing GK (MPN 52389, EAN 4006209523896) is a white nylon anchor designed for secure attachments in gypsum plasterboard. At 22 mm length, the fixing accepts screws with diameters of 4–5 mm and is supplied in packs of 100. It enables pre-positioned installation in plasterboard without preliminary drilling for boards up to 15 mm thick and is intended for mounting items such as picture frames, lights and small electrical fittings.

Advantages

The GK fixing installs quickly and simply using the included setting tool together with a cordless screwdriver, resulting in a flush finish in the board. Its positive-fit design provides high load capacity while the short fixing length reduces the space required behind the board. The anchor accepts wood, sheet metal and chipboard screws (4–5 mm) as well as various hooks and eyes, making it a universal solution for many plasterboard mounting tasks.

Suitable for

• Mounting pictures and mirrors on plasterboard
• Installing lights and small electrical fixtures
• Hanging hooks, eyes and lightweight shelving
• Series installations where many identical fixings are required

Recommendations

Use the GK fixing only in gypsum plasterboard and check that board thickness does not exceed 15 mm when installing without pre-drilling. Select screws of the recommended diameter (4–5 mm) and verify load limits empirically for each application; for heavier loads use alternative fixings or direct backing where required.
