Fischer S 10 Expansion Wall Plug

The Fischer Expansion plug S 10 is a durable nylon wall plug designed for secure fastening in solid building materials. With a length of 50 mm and a drill hole diameter of 10 mm, this plug provides directed expansion forces and reliable retention for typical interior fittings. Each pack contains 50 pieces, suitable for professional and DIY applications where a robust plastic fixing is required.

Advantages

The rimless, high-quality nylon construction offers robustness during installation and long-term stability. Expansion occurs in two directions and can be oriented by turning the plug so that expansion forces run parallel to the material edge, reducing the risk of spalling when fixing near edges. The anti-rotation lock prevents the plug from turning in the drill hole and ensures safe, consistent installation. The plug supports both pre-positioned and push-through mounting and is easy to insert.

Suitable for

• Fixing picture frames and wall lights
• Mounting lightweight wall cabinets and shelving
• Electrical installations and conduit attachments
• General fastening in solid masonry, concrete and natural stone

Clean the hole of dust and insert the Fischer Expansion plug S 10 either in pre-positioned mode or by pushing it through the fixture. Turn the plug if necessary to align the expansion ribs with the edge of the material, then drive the appropriate screw into the plug until the fixture is held firmly. Ensure the screw length is suitable for the thickness of the fixture and the plug length.

Recommendations

Use the Fischer Expansion plug S 10 in solid masonry, concrete or natural stone. Avoid use in hollow or soft substrates. Select screws of appropriate diameter and length for the plug and the applied load; follow manufacturer torque and load guidance for critical or load-bearing applications.
