Flush-Mounted Socket Merten MEG2301-1419 Type F, White

Merten MEG2301-1419 Type F outlet box in white is a flush-mount installation box engineered to receive Type F electrical sockets. It is intended for fixed mounting inside walls in residential and commercial settings and provides space for standard wiring connections while holding the socket mechanism firmly in place. The white finish helps the installed outlet integrate visually with common wall colours and trim.

Advantages

The outlet box offers a slim, flush profile that supports secure and concealed installation of Type F sockets. Its internal volume is sized for standard wiring and terminal clearance, enabling safe electrical connections and reliable fastening of the socket mechanism. The neutral white colour reduces visual contrast with light-coloured walls and simplifies integration with a variety of cover plates and faceplates.

Suitable for

• Installation of Type F electrical sockets in new construction and renovation projects
• Residential wall mounting where a concealed outlet is required
• Commercial or light-industrial interiors using standard domestic socket fittings

Key specifications

• Type: Flush-mount outlet box for Type F sockets
• Colour: White finish for neutral appearance
• Application: Indoor wall installation for residential and commercial use
• Compatibility: Designed to accommodate standard Type F socket mechanisms and wiring

How to use

Cut an appropriately sized recess in the wall at the planned mounting location and route the supply cables to the box position. Insert the outlet box into the recess so that its front edge sits flush with the finished wall surface, and secure it according to the mounting system used (e.g., screws, clamps, or adhesive where applicable). Connect the live, neutral and earth conductors to the socket mechanism following local electrical codes and safety standards, then attach the socket into the box and fasten the cover plate.

Recommendations

Before installation, verify compatibility of the chosen Type F socket mechanism with the outlet box dimensions and ensure power is isolated at the distribution board. Use appropriate protective equipment and follow local electrical regulations; consider entrusting final electrical connections to a qualified electrician.
