FUJITSU PY-TKCPC85 CPU Cooler Kit for Second Processor, compatible Server Cooling Module

FUJITSU PY-TKCPC85 is a CPU cooler kit intended for installation of a second processor in compatible Fujitsu servers. The kit includes the cooling module and mounting components required to provide adequate thermal management for an additional CPU, supporting stable operation under load and helping to maintain server performance and reliability in data center and enterprise environments.

Advantages

The kit is engineered to match Fujitsu server architectures, offering a pre-configured cooling solution that fits the designated processor location and connects to existing thermal and airflow channels. It delivers targeted heat dissipation for secondary CPUs, reducing the risk of thermal throttling and contributing to consistent processing throughput. Components are designed for rack-mounted server environments and to integrate with standard maintenance procedures.

Suitable for

• Adding a second CPU to compatible Fujitsu rack or tower servers
• Upgrading server compute capacity in data centers and enterprise IT rooms
• Replacing or restoring cooling for an existing secondary processor position
• Maintenance tasks that require original-equipment cooling components

Key specifications

• Compatibility: designed for use with compatible Fujitsu server models that support a second processor
• Function: active cooling module and mounting hardware for secondary CPU installation
• Thermal role: targeted heat dissipation for an additional processor to maintain operating temperatures under load
• Form factor: server-oriented module suitable for rack-mounted and enterprise chassis layouts
• Installation: includes mounting components to secure the cooling module into the designated processor bay

How to use

Verify server compatibility and power down the system according to the server manufacturer's service manual before beginning installation. Remove the appropriate access panels and locate the secondary processor slot. Position the FUJITSU PY-TKCPC85 cooling module and secure it using the supplied mounting hardware, ensuring correct orientation and contact with the processor heat spreader. Reconnect any airflow shrouds or internal connectors required by the server design, replace access panels, and power on the system. After boot, monitor processor temperatures to confirm the cooling module is functioning as expected.

Recommendations

Follow Fujitsu service documentation for torque specifications, anti-static precautions, and thermal interface material application. Use the kit only in server models that explicitly support a second processor and with compatible CPU models to ensure reliable thermal performance and system stability.
