Gardena 02777-20 Reducing Connector

Reducing Connector 32 mm — Gardena 02777-20 is a hose adapter designed to join a 32 mm (G1) hose to a 25 mm hose, enabling connection between different pipe diameters in garden watering systems. The connector is supplied loose and is intended for straightforward, durable use in irrigation setups.

Advantages

The Gardena reducing connector is made from materials suitable for outdoor water use and provides a secure, leak-minimizing fit between 32 mm and 25 mm hoses. Its design allows quick installation without specialized tools and is compatible with standard garden hoses and fittings, supporting long-term use in typical garden conditions.

Suitable for

• Connecting a 32 mm hose to a 25 mm hose in garden irrigation systems
• Adapting fittings when changing hose diameters for sprinklers and drip irrigation
• Temporary or permanent hose repairs where diameter reduction is required

How to use

Ensure both hose ends are clean and cut square. Insert the 32 mm hose onto the larger side and the 25 mm hose onto the smaller side of the connector until fully seated. If necessary, secure each connection with appropriate hose clamps for higher pressure applications. Check for leaks after pressurizing the system and adjust clamp tightness as needed.

Recommendations

Use the connector within the intended garden watering pressure range and avoid exposure to freezing conditions while water remains inside hoses to prevent damage. For higher-pressure systems or critical installations, complement the connector with hose clamps or compatible GARDENA fittings to ensure a tight, durable joint.
