Gardena 04088-60 Boundary Wire 150m

The Gardena Boundary Wire 04088-60 (150 m) defines the working area for Gardena robotic lawnmowers. This durable black boundary and guide wire marks the mowing limits and guides the robotic mower back to the charging station. It is suitable for medium to large gardens and is compatible with Gardena systems.

Advantages

The 150 m length provides extended coverage for larger lawns while the durable insulation resists outdoor conditions. The same cable functions as both boundary and guide wire, simplifying installation. Compatibility with Gardena robotic mowers and the recommendation to use original Gardena couplers when joining wire lengths ensure reliable operation.

Suitable for

• Defining mowing borders for Gardena robotic lawnmowers
• Medium to large residential gardens
• Connecting to Gardena charging stations as a guide wire

How to use

Lay the boundary wire around the perimeter of the lawn following the robotic mower's installation instructions, keeping the wire at the recommended distance from obstacles and edges. Use the same wire as a guide to lead the mower back to the charging station. If you need a longer loop, connect additional lengths of boundary wire using Gardena original couplers only. After installation, test the system and make any small adjustments to the wire position to ensure correct detection by the mower.

Recommendations

Always use GARDENA original couplers when connecting two pieces of boundary wire. Inspect the wire periodically for damage and avoid sharp bends or kinks that could impair signal transmission.
