Gardena 18256-50 hose connector

The Gardena 18256-50 hose connector is a durable metal fitting designed for quick and secure connection of garden hoses. Finished in black, grey and orange, the connector provides a reliable, leak-resistant joint between hoses and watering devices. It is compatible with standard garden hoses and engineered to work with other Gardena connectors and accessories to streamline watering tasks.

Advantages

The metal construction offers improved strength and wear resistance compared with plastic fittings, while the ergonomic shape and color-coded finish make handling and alignment simple. The connector forms a tight seal to reduce water loss and prevent drips at the connection point. Compatibility with a range of Gardena products ensures a coherent system for hose-based irrigation and watering setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting two standard garden hoses
• Linking hoses to watering tools and sprinklers
• Quick replacement of worn or damaged hose ends
• Garden irrigation and lawn watering tasks

Key specifications

• Material: metal body with corrosion-resistant finish
• Color: black, grey and orange accents
• Compatibility: fits standard garden hoses and compatible Gardena connectors
• Connection type: push-fit/clip-style hose coupling for secure join
• Intended use: outdoor watering and garden irrigation

How to use

Push the hose end onto the connector until it seats firmly, then engage the clip or locking sleeve according to the connector design to secure the hose. Inspect the joint for proper seating and tighten if required. To disconnect, release the locking mechanism and withdraw the hose. Regular visual checks help ensure the seal remains leak-free and the connector retains proper function.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use the connector with hoses of matching diameter and avoid excessive bending or strain at the joint. Rinse and dry before winter storage to reduce corrosion risk, and replace any connector that shows visible wear or deformation to maintain a leak-free watering system.
