Description

The GARDENA smart Sensor (19040-20) measures soil moisture and soil temperature and transmits the data wirelessly to the GARDENA smart Gateway, which is required for operation and included in the smart system Start Sets.

Measures soil moisture and soil temperature at the root zone
Wireless radio connection to the GARDENA smart Gateway
Compact, modern design with extra-flat head for use in lawns, planters, terraces and balconies
Large sensing zone works in different types of potting soil
Powered by 2 × AA batteries (not included), lasting a full garden season
Enables economical watering by activating irrigation only when necessary

Plant the sensor in the ground next to the plant so the sensing zone sits at the root area to be monitored, then pair it with the GARDENA smart system.
